Als univok bezeichnet man Begriffe, die nur eine Bedeutung haben können. So ist eine Birne nicht univok, da sie sowohl eine Frucht als auch eine Glühbirne sein kann. Univoke Begriffe sind von äquivoken Begriffen zu unterscheiden.
